Mr. Oluwasegun Oluwarotimi, a commercial motorcyclist, was brutally shot in the left leg by agents of Amotekun at Araromi junction Akure, resulting in the amputation oh his leg. We took up this case pro Bono against the Ondo State government and the Ondo State Security Network Agency, popularly codenamed Amotekun
On the 5th of April 2021, two youth activists, Emmanuel Larry and Anene Udoka Victor, were arrested in Lokoja for allegedly pasting BUHARI MUST GO posters. They were arraigned and sent to prison. We took up the case to bono in 2021 and fought for them till they were discharged on the 14th of July 2022 after the Court struck out the inglorious charge.
The case of these two poor teenagers, Monday Oni and Ayomide Femi, with a blind father at home, from Ikole-Ekiti, were remanded in Ado-Ekiti prison, after being arraigned for stealing eye drop, (for their blind father’s use) among other items, spent months in prison and we’re already abandoned there, until we took up their case pro bono. They were later freed!
